Need a cost-effective way to enlarge your living space, an affordable hideaway, or a temporary home while you build your new house or business? Why not extend your property and increase its value by constructing a Class 1a liveable shed.
It’s easy to convert one of our high-quality steel sheds into a Class 1a liveable shed. The primary differences between a garage and a liveable dwelling are the interior fit-out and the foundation it rests.
Our team of expert customer service agents, together with a network of local designers, tradespeople and certifiers can guide you through the process of creating a Liveable Shed using one of our stylish steel garages as the foundation. We can also supply you with the necessary documentation required for council approval, including detailed plans, engineering letters, and concrete notes needed for a Class 1a building.
Our ShedTech design software makes the design process simple. Once you’ve decided on the size of your Liveable Shed, you then choose from either a gabled or skillion roof styles. We supply full COLORBOND® range for roofing and raingoods with a choice of over 20 colour. Seamlessly integrate your new living quarters with existing structures or create a bold new look.
Shed Alliance will supply all of the steel components for your building the same as we would a shed or garage. Additionally, our experienced team can assist you with choosing additional options like skylights, personal doors, awnings, screens, internal partitions, or even a mezzanine floor, enabling you to create an attractive, comfortable, and versatile liveable dwelling.
Our DIY kits come with all the parts you need and detailed, but easy-to-understand instructions. That makes it easy for our customers to assemble their livable shed themselves or co-ordinate local tradies as owner-builders. However, we’ll happily manage every step of the process using our extensive network of expert shed builders if you prefer.
With over 100+ locations around Australia and New Zealand, Shed Alliance will provide FREE or heavily discounted delivery of your Liveable Shed to almost any address in the country.
